Jonah Weiss-Bergman writes essayistic work on urban experience, walking, and the rituals of secular life. His essays have appeared in The American Scholar, Salmagundi, and The Drift. He is the author of two essay collections, "Street Habits" and "The Rhythm of Nothing." His writing explores the phenomenology of cities and the meaning-making practices of everyday life. Based in Brooklyn, Weiss-Bergman teaches creative nonfiction at Pratt Institute.
